The electric actuator of valve is used to control the valve. If the valve cannot be opened and closed due to some factors, such as power failure, failure of the electric actuator, or is fixed in a certain position, it needs to be operated by hand wheel. So, what should we pay attention to when the valve actuator needs to be manually operated?

1. Pay attention to the correct direction when opening and closing the valve
The opening and closing of the valve have a fixed direction, usually, counterclockwise means that the valve is opened, and clockwise means that the valve is closed. If you need to manually operate the valve electric actuator , then we must pay attention to open or close the valve in the correct direction when operating.
2, be careful not to use tools to operate
Because the hand wheel, handle and other operating parts on the valve are designed according to normal manpower, therefore, when manually operating the valve electric actuator , you should also pay attention to direct hand operation, and can not use levers or long wrenches and other tools to open or close the valve, so as to avoid damage due to too much force. In addition, when the handwheel is fully opened, pay attention to reverse it a little so that the threads are tight to avoid loosening damage.
3, pay attention to mark
If the handwheel of the valve electric actuator is used for limiting position, it should be in the predetermined position and pay attention to the fully open and fully closed positions with the help of rulers and marks during maintenance, so as to avoid hitting the dead point when it is fully open. In addition, before manually operating the valve electric actuator , the operator should also pay attention to loosen the handwheel lock mother first, and then operate, unless there is special instructions after the completion of the operation must open the handwheel and lock the lock mother.
